TURMERIC…
... the power of the yellow root - in Ayurveda it is considered as a symbol of the sun - because the essential oils and the coloring agent curcumin in turmeric have an energizing, cleansing and anti-inflammatory effect. It gives the skin rich nutrients and protects at the same time - thanks to its antioxidant effect - from harmful influences. Likewise, turmeric affects the circulation, so we are spoiled with a wonderful complexion after such a mask!
It is also suitable for mature skin due to its antioxidant effect, protects against skin aging and reduces wrinkles.
Anti-aging effect with turmeric ...
... because it unfolds its antioxidant action on the skin surface, it binds free radicals and makes our skin just smoother and cleaner. Because of its strong action as a radical scavenger, turmeric delays the development of wrinkles and other signs of aging. Likewise turmeric has moisturizing effects and so improves the elasticity of our skin, wrinkles are smoothed and also reduced. Pale, tired skin can be missed with Curcuma masks a freshness kick.
Here is a 2-step application for a radiant complexion for the summer:

step 2
What you need
- 2 tablespoons sandalwood powder
- 2 tbsp rosewater
- 1 tbsp honey
Stir everything into a fine, smooth mass and apply to the face for a good 15 minutes. Then remove with lukewarm water.

Here is another vegan turmeric all-purpose mask:
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 teaspoon coconut cream or almond milk!
Mix everything and apply to the face. Allow to soak for 15-20 minutes and then remove with warm water. You will love this mask! Even with an unclean back - just mix together, apply, wait - done!
A very intense exfoliating mask:
Turmeric along with papaya. The papain, which is contained in the papaya, dissolves cell aggregates of the upper layers of the skin and thus exfoliates very gently. For this mask, unripe fruits are best because they contain about 5000 times more papain than ripe fruits. Be sure to take the seeds with you, this will give you a very good peeling!
What you need:
- 1 tsp turmeric
- ½ unripe papaya, puree, preferably with a little coconut water, but good pure water does it too, and the seeds do not forget to take with them!
- 1 teaspoon flour
- juice of a ½ lemon
Mix well, apply, allow to soak for 15 minutes and then whirl on with circular movements, then remove and apply some rose water to the skin!
Please be attention:
Please make sure that you have not taken too much turmeric, because turmeric makes the skin look slightly yellow at first. That's not bad, because afterwards there is this golden effect! But if it's too much, use lukewarm water, or juice from a lemon or coconut oil, to get rid of the yellow color right away.
